Start your journey into acrylic nails with confidence through our comprehensive ABT Accredited Acrylic Course, designed to give you both the knowledge and hands-on experience needed to build strong foundations.
Prerequisites: Ideal for beginners to the nail industry & qualified nail technicians looking to refresh their knowledge.
This is a blended learning course, combining in-depth online theory with practical, including step-by-step video tutorials before your in-person practical training, so you arrive prepared, confident and ready to get the most out of your day with your educator.
Kit Includes: Acrylic Practice Mat, Mini Monomer & Mini Polymer.
Online Theory (to be completed before your in-person training): You’ll begin with our detailed online learning portal, covering essential knowledge to support safe and effective acrylic application. This includes:
• Structured theory modules
• Step-by-step video tutorials
• Short online assessments to test your understanding
• Full procedures to guide your practice
As part of your course, you’ll be required to submit two case studies before attending in-person training, this ensures you have a solid understanding of the fundamentals before moving on to full application. What we require is a video and image of:
• Natural nail preparation
• Bead control and placement, on your practice mat (included in course kit)
In-Person Training: During your practical training day, you’ll work closely with your educator to carry out a full acrylic application from start to finish. This is your opportunity to refine your technique, ask questions and gain hands-on confidence with expert guidance. Model: You must provide a model to apply a full set of acrylic nail enhancements. Model must arrive with product-free nails. Model arrives for 1.30pm.
Location: Various locations available across the UK. Course Length: 1 day (9 hours)
Items required to complete the course: Cuticle Tools, Assortment of Files & Buffers (120/150/180 grit), Acrylic Practice Mat, Dappen Dish, Acrylic Brush, Monomer, Polymer, Half-Cover Tips and Nail Glue.
Certification Process: This course is focused on developing real skill and competency -not rushing the process. A certificate is not issued on the day. To successfully complete the course, you will be required to submit two additional case studies after your in-person training:
• Infills of acrylic nails
• Safe removal
Once these have been assessed and meet the required standard, your certificate will be awarded.
Cancellation Policy: Our in-person courses are non-refundable, but can be transferable. Please contact us directly (training@nailorder.co.uk) at least 4 days before your course date if you need to re-arrange your training date. Giving less than 4 days notice will forfeit any payment made.
Please note: Once complete you have lifetime access to this course if you ever wish to review anything. Prerecorded videos for each section of the application. No live lessons.
