Application for Dura Gel Minus 4
Dura Gel has a cure thickness of 1.8mm, this means that each layer should be no more than 1.8mm thick.
1. Prep the natural nails using your preferred method (we recommend using a sanding
band or manually using a 180/240 nail file to gently etch the nail surface)
Do not apply any cleaners, dehydrators or acetone to the natural nail after prep as this can over dehydrate the nail and lead to premature lifting of the gel.
2. Apply
Xprime or Primer for maximum adhesion.
3. If adding length apply your form or tip now.
Choose one of the following application methods...
4.a. Apply a thin layer of Nail Order Base coat and cure. for 30 seconds in an approved light source.
OR
4.b. Apply slip layer of Dura Gel Minus 4 directly to the nail plate but do not cure.
NEXT...
5. Apply a bead of the product, then begin building the apex
allowing the product to self-level.
6. Cure for 60 seconds or on 90 second low heat mode in an approved light source.
7. Remove the inhibition layer, refining where necessary using a
180 buffer or lightly using a 240 nail file and apply gel polish when happy
with the finish.
