Most brands have their own name for their range of builder gels and ours is called AnGel. AnGel was designed to be an easy-to-use builder gel that performed more like a traditional builder than contained HEMA but was actually free of HEMA.

Who should I use builder gel on?

AnGel is perfect for those clients who love the added strength that builder gives. Recommended for clients with short to medium length natural nails and clients who require the addition of a small apex.

Things to note with AnGel:

- AnGel has a recommended cure thickness of 1mm, this means that each layer should be no more than 1mm thick.

- At Nail Order we do not recommend using builder gels (full stop) to extend the natural nail. Find out why here.

No additional steps are needed with this builder gel. With a built-in base coat after prepping and priming the nail you can apply AnGel straight to the natural nail.

We recommend applying the first layer thinly whilst ensuring good contact with the brush and natural nail (don’t float this layer over the nail), once you have applied this base layer cure for 60 seconds. You can then apply your thicker builder layer of product and again cure for 60 seconds, if refining is required gently use a 180 or 240 buffer.
